CAPE TOWN, June 21 – President Jacob Zuma has appointed 17 members to the National Consumer Tribunal (NCT), his office said on Wednesday.
The members would serve “for a period of five years, effective from 01 July 2017 until 30 June 2022”, a statement from the presidency said.
The 17 member NCT team is set to consist of:
— Prof Joseph Mandla Maseko (Executive Chairman);
— Laura Anne Best (Deputy Chairman);
— Lulama Andisa Potwana;
— Diane Reinette Terblanche;
— Adv Frans Kgolela Manamela;
— Xolela Christopher May;
— Ms Penelope Anne Beck-Paxton;
— Prof Tanya Woker;
— Adv Hope Fiona Neo Sephoti;
— Prof Bonke Clayton Dumisa;
— Fungai Khumbulani Sibanda;
— Nomfundo Sylvia Maseti;
— Maleho Margaret Nkomo;
— Prof Kasturi Moodaliyar;
— Dr Maria Claudina Du Toit;
— Lehlohonolo Lucky Rabotapi; and
–Trevor Albert Bailey
The presidency said Zuma had congratulated the new members and wished them the best in their new task.
