MTN8 semifinals kick off in the Mother City

JOHANNESBURG, August 18 – The Premier Soccer League have announced the dates and venues for the two legs of the 2018 MTN8 semifinals which start in Cape Town later in August.

The first leg of the MTN8 semifinals will be played on the weekend of August 25/26. The return legs will be contested on the weekend of September 1-2.

The first match of the semis first leg will be played on August 25 when last season’s finalists, Cape Town City welcome Sundowns to the Cape Town Stadium (start 3pm).

The following day, SuperSport host 2014 champions Chiefs at the Lucas Moripe Stadium (start 3pm.)

MTN8 semifinal fixtures, first leg:
Saturday, August 25: Cape Town City v Mamelodi Sundowns, Cape Town Stadium, 3pm
Sunday, August 26: SuperSport United v Kaizer Chiefs, Lucas Moripe Stadium, 3pm

Second leg:
Saturday, September 1: Kaizer Chiefs vs SuperSport United, FNB Stadium, 8.15pm
Sunday, September 2: Mamelodi Sundowns vs Cape Town City, Lucas Moripe Stadium, 3pm. (ANA)
