DURBAN, August 11 – One person died and another two were injured, one critically, when a car veered out of control and crashed on the R102 north of Durban late on Friday night, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 responded at 11.30pm to reports of a collision on the R102 between Canelands and Shortlands, Netcare 911 spokesman Shawn Herbst said on Saturday.
Reports from the scene indicated that the driver of a car lost control, resulting in the car rolling several times and ejecting the occupants in the process.
One person sustained fatal injuries and another critical injuries. The third occupant sustained moderated injuries. The injured were treated on the scene and transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment. Authorities were on the scene to investigate, Herbst said.
