EAST LONDON, June 27 – The Buffalo City Metro Municipality on Wednesday said it was ready to host the three-day international BRICS meetings.
The meeting will start in East London tomorrow. BRICS countries include Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
Municipal spokesperson Samnkelo Ngewnya, said the meetings will discuss the local government cooperation and urbanisation forum, engagements on disaster management and more.
“There are many trade and investment opportunities that can be expected and we will showcase the city and the province,” said Ngwenya.
Ngwenya said a total of 400 delegates and investors, both international and local, are expected to attend. (ANA)
