One Absa Premiership fan to go home a millionaire this weekend

BLOEMFONTEIN, May 10 – One football fan will have a life-changing experience this weekend and go home a millionaire thanks to Absa, the sponsors of the Premier Soccer League’s Premiership.

The winner will walk away with the ultimate prize on Saturday in Bloemfontein during the Bloemfontein Celtic and Mamelodi Sundowns fixture. This is a culmination of the competition ‘Kick for a Million’.

Over 7 000 football fans entered the competition and to date, R100 000 has been given away to the selected participants of each stage of the competition.

To prepare the finalists to kick for the ultimate prize, Absa facilitated a comprehensive training day in Johannesburg.

The training day also gave the finalists an opportunity to try penalty kicks against former Maritzburg United, Free State Stars and Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Glenn Verbauwhede.

Fans are encouraged to come to the Absa Premiership trophy handover match between Bloemfontein Celtic and Mamelodi Sundowns game to see who will be crowned the Kick-For-A-Million winner.
