Nigerian group threatens to sue Abuja over kidnapped schoolgirls

JOHANNESBURG, March 14 – A Nigerian group that sparked a global campaign for the safe return of schoolgirls kidnapped in 2014 has warned that it will sue the government if it failed to provide answers over a similar mass abduction last month, Reuters reported.

On February 19, 110 schoolgirls were kidnapped from the north-eastern town of Dapchi while 276 girls were kidnapped from Chibok in 2014.

Campaign group Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) said on Tuesday it had submitted questions about the Dapchi kidnapping to President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
