Police launch search operation for a misssing girl in Maake, Limpopo

The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo has condemned the continuous poor child care by both the parents and guardians which is still generating more incidents of missing children and drowning.


“In the Maake policing area outside Tzaneen, the police have launched a search operation for the missing Phangweni Julia Moagi, aged 12 years, following her disappearance on 2017-12-11 at about 09:00”, Ngoepe.

It is alleged that she had an argument with her mother over the electricity bill.


After the argument, the victim told her mother that she is going out and since then she never come back home.


“A joint search operation was conducted in and around her residential area without success”, said Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.

She was wearing a long trouser, white vest and a grey sweater jacket.
