CAPE TOWN, November 20 – A man and woman, both aged 34, were arrested for allegedly manufacturing tik in the Cape Town suburb of Milnerton, Western Cape police said on Monday.
Spokesperson Sinathi Joni said a tip off from community members led to the double arrests.
Police searched a residence on Sunday, November 19 at around 3pm and discovered tik with an estimated street value of R1 million.
“They will face charges of manufacturing and dealing in drugs after police found in their possession Tik with an estimated street value of R1 million, as well as chemicals and equipment suspected to be used in manufacturing the drug.”
The two suspects will appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
