Missing Rustenburg teen found

RUSTENBURG, November 9 – Missing Rustenburg teenager, Gomolemo Karabo Haraba, was found in Boitekong near Rustenburg on Thursday, North West police said.

 

 
Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone said the 14-year-old was found at about 6pm, at Extension 2 in Boitekong.

 

 
“She was found in the company of a 20-year-old male whose relationship with the girl cannot be confirmed at this stage. Gomolemo will be taken for medical examination,” he said.

 

 
The Grade 8 learner from East End in Rustenburg went missing on November 3, on her way home from school.

 
Irate residents of East End torched five houses occupied by Nigerians nationals, and alleged that the foreign nationals used the rented houses to run a brothel and sell drugs, they suspected Gomolemo was kidnapped and forced into prostitution.

 

 
Rustenburg Cluster Commander General Arthur Adams thanked the police and members of the community who worked hard to ensure that Gomolemo was found.
