DURBAN, October 13 – Soccer fans will not only see quick-footed action on the field during Saturday’s MTN8 Final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban – but also get a chance to move their own feet with the entertainment lined up for this special occasion.
The fan experience includes a star-studded music concert and a Fan Zone.
The pre-final music concert, which is set to begin at 4pm, will include top South African heavyweights such as Babes Wodumo, L’vovo Derango, Naak Musiq and many more. MTN also say it is a big surprise in store for supporters at halftime.
Tickets are available at TicketPro outlets including CNA, Postnet, Postnet, Edgars and Jet stores and cost R40 upwards.
The match will kick-off at 7pm, but festivities are set to commence from as early as 3pm when the Fan Zone Experience opens.
Supporters who arrive early at the stadium will get an opportunity to interact with legends such as Sibusiso Zuma, Jabu Mahlangu, Thabo September, Edries Burton, Benedict Vilakazi and Joseph Makhanya.
Supporters are guaranteed a wide range of fun-filled activities at the Fan Zone Experience. All MTN customers at the stadium on Saturday will receive 500MB data free.
On the field of play, Benni McCarthy will lead Cape Town City to their first-ever MTN8 final when they come against an Eric Tinkler-led SuperSport United side who will be making their second MTN8 final appearance.
