Three men arrested for shooting at Joburg school

JOHANNESBURG, October 3 – Three men were arrested in connection with the murder of a Duduza primary school deputy principal, Johannesburg police said on Monday.
South African Police Service spokesperson Lieutenant Kay Makhubele said the men are expected to appear in court in the next 48 hours.
The three men allegedly shot Herbet Nyembe, 55, on the Edalinceba Primary School’s premises in Duduza, in east of Johannesburg on September 26. The men gained access to the school premises after they allegedly told security guards that they were there to fix the faulty electricity.
Makhubele said the men were arrested in Tsakane and KwaThema following investigations.
Nyembe was hit by at least four bullets in the attack. After the shooting, teachers found him barely alive in a pool of blood, he died on the scene.
