A Durban high school teacher could serious consequences or maybe even face jail time after a video of him abusing school learners circulated on social media. In the video, the unidentified teacher is seen beating several female leaners after he was interrupted by another female teacher.
Incidents like this have previously been condemned by the Department of Education as corporal punishment has long being banned.
The video has caused an uproar as people took to twitter to show their anger and other even called on the police to arrest the teacher.
