DURBAN, September 9 – Three people were injured, two seriously, when two cars collided on the M35 at Folweni near Muthwa garage, south of Durban late on Friday night, paramedics said.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two cars had collided before one left the road and came to rest in an informal settlement below the side of the road, Rescue Care spokesman Garrith Jamieson said on Saturday.
“Three people had sustained various injuries, with two patients sustaining serious injuries. Advanced life support paramedics stabilised the injured on the scene before transporting them to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.”
At this stage, the cause of the collision was unknown, Jamieson said.
