MBOMBELA, September 4 – Ten people were killed and two seriously injured in a collision in Mpumalanga on Monday morning, the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) said.
“The accident happened when a Toyota Avanza and a light delivery vehicle collided head-on on the R23 between Standerton and Balfour,” RTMC spokesman Simon Zwane said.
“Accident reconstruction experts are currently on the scene trying to determine the exact cause of the accident.”
Zwane said the RTMC and police will be working together to investigate the fatal crash.
