CAPE TOWN, September 4 – A drop safe at a petrol station in Sunningdale in Table View in Cape Town was bombed and suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash in the early hours of Monday morning, Western Cape police said.
“According to reports, unidentified suspects used explosives to open the drop safe, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene,” police said in a statement.
There were no injuries reported.
“Cases of the use of explosives, theft and malicious damage to property were registered for investigation.”
