Thirteen people injured in four-vehicle crash in Centurion

JOHANNESBURG, August 31 – Thirteen people were injured when four vehicles collided on the N14 before the Eeufees Road in Centurion on Wednesday, paramedics said.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said that a taxi, bakkie and two light motor vehicles were found on the side of the road when paramedics arrived on the scene.
“Several people were found walking on the scene while others were seated inside their vehicles. Paramedics assessed the patients and found that thirteen had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were found on the scene,” he said.
“Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to various hospitals for further treatment. The local authorities were on the scene to investigate the cause of the collision.”
