Kazan, Russia – Chile are at full strength for their Confederations Cup semi-final against Portugal, coach Juan Antonio
Pizzi said Tuesday.
“I am very fortunate in having all 23 players available,” he said on the eve of the game in Kazan.
The Copa America champions have recovered from their physically demanding 1-1 draw with Australia on Sunday.
“We are well prepared to get to the final,” he said.
Midfielder Marcelo Diaz said: “”We have recovered very well. We are rested. We have the possibility to get to the final and that’s what we want to do, we want to win this championship for Chile and we will fight until the end.”
Portugal were meanwhile without Borussia Dortmund defender Raphael Guerreiro at their final training session on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old left-back suffered an ankle injury in the 1-0 victory over Russia in the team’s second group match and now looks unlikely
to play against Chile.
A question mark remains over midfielder Bernardo Silva, who injured his ankle in the 4-0 defeat of New Zealand and trained individually.
