Bail application of murder accused postponed

The bail application of man accused of killing and burning Karabo Mokoena has been postponed to 23 June, with both lawyers agreeing for the application to be delayed to allow the NPA for the on going media ban.

Sandile Mantsoe who is facing a count of murder of which can result in life imprisonment if found guilty in relation to the degree of the murder, as well as a charge for defeating the ends of justice, will remain in custody.

Since the killing and burning of Mokoena, violence against woman has become more and more worrying, putting not only Women but the nation as a whole in a state of anxiety.

South Africa is facing a truly worrying situation with domestic violence and to decline the affliction, South Africans must take a stand against such brutal acts and work hand-in-hand with the law to refrain this matter.
